Congratulations to the artists and authors featured in this year's edition of Kids in Print!
Children and teens, ages six to 18, have shared their poetry, stories, short plays, essays, drawings and photographs with the library. Our staff received more than 200 submissions and selected 58 contributors to feature in this year's edition.
This annual literary magazine showcases the talents of young people across the Midlands and this year's edition is the 29th publication.

Kids in Print 2024 is in the final stages of design. We will celebrate with a launch party on Saturday, May 4th at 3:30 pm in the auditorium of Richland Library Main, 1431 Assembly Street Columbia, SC 29201.
The library is pleased to formally recognize this year’s contributors and their work at this special event with an original performance based on this year’s magazine and featuring the talents of professional actors. An autograph session will follow. Artwork from Kids in Print 2024 will also be displayed in the community gallery at Richland Library Main later in May.
